Prometheus Student’s Visionary Effort to Support Stray Dogs in Noida

Promoting dog adoption program initiative by Prometheus school

Yashika Salwan, a Class 12 student from Prometheus School and founder of the Samya Art Society, has partnered with Sakha Ek Pehel, led by Vibha Chugh, to support a community project in Noida. Together, they collaborated with Posh Dog Shelter Home to beautify its premises by creating vibrant murals. These murals emphasize the importance of adopting pets from shelters and celebrate the bond between humans and animals.

The artwork embodies compassion, the joy pets bring, and the intrinsic connection shared between humans and animals, encouraging citizens to take meaningful steps toward improving the lives of stray dogs.

Samya Art Society, known for promoting creativity and social awareness, also organizes diverse events like art exhibitions and poetry readings. These initiatives not only nurture young talent but also inspire them to engage with meaningful causes.

This project reflects Yashika’s vision of driving change through art, alongside Vibha Chugh’s dedication to animal welfare. Vibha’s work during the COVID-19 pandemic highlighted the importance of caring for vulnerable animals, further reinforcing the need for such initiatives.

Through this mural project, Samya Art Society showcases how art can evoke empathy for voiceless animals, amplify their cause, and inspire positive change in the community.
